Julia Guillermo

Julia is a production designer and set decorator studying for a BFA in Production Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with minors in Film & Television and Creative Writing.

Born in Caracas and raised in South Florida, she grew up on stage in productions like Mary Poppins, Chicago and Les Misérables, and later worked in the Disney College Program. She is drawn to horror and the surreal — rooms that feel lived in and a little unsettling.

At SCAD she has led the art department as production designer on student films and a documentary, and she builds the props, drawings and digital renderings that go with them.
